About our Denver Hides - Our Denver Hides are available in several colors, have a distressed look and a slight "pull-up" effect. This leather was Chrome Tanned, which is how the hide was treated to produce the leather end-product. The weight/thickness of this leather is approximately 3-4 oz. (0.4 - 1.2 mm). The hide has a waxy finish, which makes it soft to the touch, while also being a robust material. Our Denver Hides will naturally crease over time, resulting in an amazing vintage-looking patina.
