This horseshoe pin is a rare and sought after Capri signed vintage piece. Founded in 1952, Capri Jewelry Company appeared on Fifth Avenue in the very heart of New York City. The company produced very few collections and not large editions. Capri pieces are known for their high quality and unique designs. Capri released its last collection in 1977 and ceased operations thereafter. Over the years it has become increasingly difficult to find Capri jewelry, making this item a rare and special piece!
Jewelry Company Capri labeled or "signed" jewelry "CAPRI" until 1955. After 1955, the copyright sign was added. This particular piece is signed "CAPRI" with a copyright sign, suggesting it likely was created in the 1960s or 1970s.
